About KISYN
About KISYN: Nordic shadow AI discovery and governance
KISYN is a Norway-based product for discovering and governing the AI tools organisations actually use. It is currently in beta. Our aim is to give Nordic organisations a clear AI inventory without turning governance into employee surveillance.
What KISYN is building
AI features appear quickly across standalone services and software employees already use. KISYN is designed to make those tools visible, connect them to an accountable owner and purpose, and support proportionate risk review. The product does not read employee messages, files, prompts, or generated content.
Our principles
- Visibility without content surveillance.
- Clear explanations for ordinary users, not compliance jargon alone.
- Risk decisions based on purpose, data, access, and consequences.
- Evidence and sources for claims about law and regulation.
- A Nordic starting point with European obligations in view.
